After the long battle which kept every single League of Legends Player at the edge of their seats, Kuala Lumpur Hunter once again took the trophy back home during the battle against Eternity eSports who made it to the Finale during the Selangor Cyber Games which happened at Paradigm Mall. This is actually Kuala Lumpur Hunter’s their 5th consecutive title in The Legends Circuit Grand Finals.

Not only KLH won the RM 40,000 prize, Mr. Khoo Hung Chuan, the General Manager of Lenovo Malaysia & Singapore who is also the Gold sponsor for this League gave TLC a brand new Lenovo Legion Y520. They are now also qualified for the Garena Premier League, which is a regional tournament where it features seven SEA (South East Asian) teams, and this League leads to two qualifying slots into the biggest battle of all, The League of Legends World Championships.

Apart from the League itself, companies like Lenovo, Logitech, Time and Digi who were the sponsors of the event also sponsored products for the giveaway, which happened on both Day One and Day Two. On Day Two, Lenovo gave away the Grand Lucky Draw Prize, Lenovo Y520 to one Lucky Winner. Also, SecretLabs gave away one of their super comfy chair as well.

Dickson Lee, eSports Commissioner from Garena Malaysia, said: “As eSports continues to grow in Malaysia, the possibilities are limitless for League of Legends. We strongly believe that the reveal of LCM comes at the right time as there has never been this much activation for eSports, campus, community and the game itself.”

Other than the CyberGames, they also had a Cosplay Collision competition between 10 local cosplayers. Dovar walked away with the grand prize of RM3,000. The winning performance was unanimously decided by guest judges including professional cosplayer Aza Miyuko from South Korea, as well as Weon Haur and Fujiwara from Malaysia.
Again, congratulations to all the three teams who actually made it so far. And I wish Kuala Lumpur Hunters good luck for their upcoming playoffs at the Garena Premier League. I have to say this. Eternity eSports did put up a great match and it was nerve wrecking. So did Nirvana Gaming.
