So, y’all ready to join me on a voyage to have fun with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3? Haha. Let’s not waste any time. Before I head on with the beast. The name is Prithivi Raj. a.k.a Vesper! and I am one of the 15 Chosen Mi explorer!

Let’s jump right in!

Before I give my first impression on this beast, why not we watch an Unboxing video so that you guys know what comes in the box and take a look at my beast as well. Haha.

Had fun in hyperlapse? Haha. I hope you guys did. As I have unbox-ed the phone, I am going to share my initial impression about this Redmi Note 3.

Design:

In terms of design, the phone feels premium. Really premium. It’s a unibody design and the battery is non-removable. On the left side of the phone is the SIM Card slot. The phone features an Hybrid sim card tray. So, basically the first slot is for SIM 1 and the second slot, you can choose to have either an SD Card or a nano SIM card. Your choice. And on the right we have our Volume rockers and the lock button.

Behind the phone you’ll actually see the 16MP Sony Camera, Dual-LED Flash and the fingerprint sensor. This is Xiaomi’s first phone to feature a fingerprint sensor.Below you’ll see the Mi logo and the rear facing speaker.

On the bottom we have our Micro USB port and a Mic. On top of the phone, we have our IR Blaster, a 3.5mm Headphone jack and another Microphone.

Software:

The redmi Note 3 is running MIUI 7 on top of Android 5.1.1 (i.e.,) Lollipop. The response is snappy, quick and fast. Full of fun features. The security got better and this phone has some serious tricks up its sleeves. Haha. (Wanna know bout it? Wait for my Full review)

Specs:

I’ll just run down the specs of the Variant:
– Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 – Hexa Core clocked in at 1.8Ghz
– 5.5″ 1080p Display
– 5MP Front Facing camera / 16MP Rear Facing camera
– Either 2 GB RAM / 16 GB ROM or 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM
– Metal Unibody
– 4050 mAh Battery
– Single SIM Slot and a Hybrid SIM slot.

My thoughts:

Well, my last phone was a Xiaomi Mi4i and been using that as my daily driver since July 2015. And everything I love about it is in this huge beast. And what can I say? Holding the Redmi Note 3, feels premium, expensive and gives a bold look & Feel.

Well, I can’t say much right now. So, why not wait for my full review in one week time? Haha.
Alright then, thanks for watching my unboxing and my First impression of this phone. And I’ll see you guys in my Review.

Feel free to share it with your Friends and family.
Thanks guys.
