Remember the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, that we all fell in love with that beautiful design, the very first smartphone to feature the Iris scanner and possibly my favorite. We also remember how the next big thing went bigger, literally. And that was something we will not forget and Samsung will not forget. But I loved Samsung’s approach to recall all the units and kill them off for good. And they were sorry too.
And few months later before the Note 8 was even launched, we saw the same Note 7 but with a smaller battery in it. And it was called the Samsung Galaxy Note FE (Not Iron. It’s a chemistry joke), but Fan Edition. Eversince the Note FE was announced, people all over the world went like “That’s the note I’d like to own.” including my friends. And it looks like tomorrow, Samsung Mobile Malaysia is going to announce the Note FE here in Malaysia. Yay!
You guys might be wondering what might be the difference between the Note FE and the Note 7. My friend, Dr. Adrian from TechArp did a comparison chart and you can take a look at it right below.

Like I’ve mentioned earlier, the battery on the Note 7 is gone for good and now, the Note FE comes with a smaller battery, which is a 3,200 mAh Li-ON.
Now that we got that aside, you might be wondering about the pricing and availability. Like How much is it going to be sold for and when will it be available or is it a limited time only product. Well, honestly right now, we can’t really answer that but only make assumptions. Now in Korea, the Note FE was retailed for 699,000 KRW, which roughly converts to our beloved Ringgit to about RM 2,605+. But this is just an assumption. It could be higher or lower. But fret not, because this is where we will keep you updated about it tomorrow. Make sure to hit that like Button on our Facebook and stay tuned for the update. And you’ll be hearing from us real soon. 🙂
Also, huge thanks to my friend over at TechArp on the comparison as well. Do check them out as well!
