Samsung Galaxy A8 Specification
Leaving the 16:9 aspect ratio, the A Series jumps into the 18:9 aspect ratio bandwagon as well. On the front, we have a 5.6″ inch FHD+ Super AMOLED. The whole phone comes in at 172g. The A8 is powered by Samsung’s latest Exynos 7885, which is an Octa Core processor clocked in at 2.2GHz. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage. What’s interesting is that the A8 includes a secondary slot which features an independent SD Card slot and Secondary SIM Slot.
In terms of battery, it rocks a 3,000 mAh that supports fast charging and comes with a USB-C port. It runs the latest Samsung Experience on top of Android 7.1.1. Just like the previous iteration of A series, the A8 also supports Samsung Pay with the included NFC and MST.
On paper, the connectivity with this phone sounds about right. It supports 802.11 ac for ultra fast Wifi connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection between your smart wearables. One way to differentiate the A8 with the rest is the fingerprint sensor that’s located below the camera right now.
