Over $500,000 To Be Won!

AWC will boast a prize pool exceeding $500,000 ( RM 1,970,000), one of the biggest offered for a mobile eSports tournament. At AWC, competitors will hail from a total of nine different regions. This includes Taiwan/HK/Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, North America, South America and Europe . Also, there will be three Wildcard teams which will participate in AWC.

In order to qualify for the AWC, teams will have to compete in the AWC qualifiers. In the Valiant server consisting of the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, one team from the server may participate in AWC. Teams from the stated countries will have to reach the Top Four in the regional Valor Cup before competing in Road to AWC. Garena plans to hold two Valor Cups, the first of which will take place in early April. Garena also aims to build a complete mobile eSports ecosystem, by holding thousands of tournaments between cities and schools. These grassroot competitions will ensure a constant flow of new players into the games, along with commentators and hosts.

In the Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) held in 2017, team SMG from Taiwan managed to take the trophy home. The tournament generated more than 36 million online viewers, an industry record for a  mobile game. Since then, eSports teams such Team Liquid, Fnatic, SK Gaming, and Team Vitality have built teams to compete in the mobile game.
