We all know there’s like so many other smartphones in the market that we have no idea existed. One thing we’ve noticed with certain Chinese brands is that, they offer very interesting devices at fraction of a cost of a flagship device. The device that caught our attention a while back is from a Chinese Manufacturer called Cubot. Honestly, we’ve never heard about that brand at all. But the device that they offer for $129 is too good to be true.

Cubot X18

Cubot X18 is the company’s latest smartphone. On the front it has a 5.99″ Full HD+ display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek processor – MT6750T to be precise which is an Octa Core Processor. On top of that, you also get 4GB of RAM and 64GB Internal Storage.

They also claim that they’ve packed a 4000 mAh battery inside a thin smartphone which is about 8.55mm. On top of that, it runs the latest Android Oreo out of the box. One of their main highlight happens to be the camera because it comes with a dual camera setup on the back of the device. It has a 20MP primary sensor and a 2MP Secondary sensor that works as a depth sensor for all the bokeh shots. Finally, it comes in two different finishes – Blue and Black.

Honestly, looking at the specification sure sounds more like a mid-range device. But the shocking part is the fact that it’s sold for like $129, which is ridiculously cheap. It sure is an interesting device for such price point. From the looks of it, it isn’t sketchy because it’s being sold on GearBest. You can check them out for the device and if you’re planning to get one, by all means. I mean it’s like RM 500++.
