Transcend unveiled a new PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD for the Consumer Market and for Embedded Applications. But this time, they’ve made it a whole lot interesting with introducing High Performance capability along with it. These new SSDs is built with high quality 3D TLC NAND flash memory where both has the capability to utilize the PCI Express Gen 3 x4 interface, and fully compliant with PCIe 3.1 and NVMe 1.3 to attain that high speed.
Not just that, these M.2 SSDs maintain high speeds at low power consumption and excellent reliability, thanks to the 3D TLC NAND structure.
MTE110S – PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 3D TLC Consumer SSD
With this particular series, the MTE110S offers four lanes of simultaneous data flow to deliver approximately two times the sequential read and three times the random read performance of the MTE820 M.2 SSD Series.
The MTE110S will be available in three configurations – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. It is covered by their 5 Year Limited Warranty.
Now this SSD on the other hand is designed for high end application because it features a DRAM cache which increases boot up time. Not only that, it also increases the frequently-used application to load faster as well. With this combined with the four lane PCIe 3.1 and NVMe 1.3 protocol, increases the write speeds of 1800 MB/s and 800 MB/s for better performance and data retention. Thanks to the S.M.A.R.T. functionality, you also get advanced global wear – leveling and block management and advanced garbage collection.
If you are looking for a cost-effective variant – you can opt in for the MTE510T which is a DRAM less SSD solution.
The MTE550T on the other hand, will be available in 128GB and 256GB capacity with three years limited warranty.
