Audio manufacturer Plantronics, has launched a new pair of headphones for the Malaysian market. The Plantronics BackBeat GO 605 Wireless Headphones is the latest from the company, and will retail for RM499.

Big On EQ Mode

The BackBeat GO 605 comes with dual equalization (EQ) modes, which according to Plantronics, will allow users to alternate between ‘Bass Boost’ and ‘Balanced’. The ‘Balanced’ EQ mode is Plantronics’ Signature Sound Curve, tuned for accurate representation of the source audio. To make the changing of modes easy, the firm has included a dedicated button to alternate between modes.

As for design, the BackBeat GO 605 comes in a slim profile and has earcups made out of soft memory foam. This should allow for noise isolation, resulting in deep and rich audio listening. In addition, the earcups can be folded flat for storage. When it comes to battery life, Plantronics states that it will last 18 hours on a single charge. The headphones can also stay connected up to 10m from Bluetooth-compatible devices. On top of that, a wideband-enabled microphone is part of the package, making hands-free voice command possible.
