Netflix has recently rolled out a new interface for its service on TV. This is being done in a bid to make the watching experience more seamless.
To Be Rolled Out Over The Coming Months
The new update has already begun its rollout but it will take a few months to reach all customers, and this is given considering how wide Netflix’s customer base is. As for the design itself, it has become more simple and more intuitive in a few different ways. Now, it is easier for users to search and view recently added content even with just a TV remote control.
According to the firm, users usually aren’t sure of what title to watch, though they have an idea of whether to watch a series or movie. To that, Netflix has made it simpler to start browsing either a series or movie. This update was implemented after much research and testing was conducted by Netflix. Also, access to saved titles for later viewing in My List has been made easier with the update. Netflix stated that a simpler design helped members find something to great to watch, at least during the testing phase.
Netflix added that while this may seem like an obvious update, lots of effort was put into it. This is due to the extensive research, testing, and technology improvements. However, this won’t be the only update as the company is set to roll out more updates in the coming months. It should be noted that this new design update is only meant for the TV version of Netflix.
