Lenovo and Disney have announced Star Wars: Jedi Challenges – Dark Side Expansion. It is a new content update to the previously launched Jedi Challenges mobile app which involves Augmented Reality.

Take Control With Kylo Ren!

Now, users of Jedi Challenges will be able to undertake new challenges as Kylo Ren. In one of the challenges which happens to be the fan-favourite Lightsaber Battles, users will be able to duel characters such as Yoda, Rey, and many others in augmented reality. There will be two lightsabers to choose from: Kylo Ren’s or Rey’s Lightsaber. This update will be rolled out to the smartphone game in November on both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.

Also, Lenovo launched a limited-edition Lightsaber Controller modeled after Kylo Ren’s iconic weapon from the film series. It will be available for purchase from www.jedichallenges.com. However, the limited-edition Kylo Ren lightsaber will only be available in select market from November. As for pricing, it will be sold for $99.99 though pricing may vary slightly from market to market.

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges happens to be a mobile game powered by augmented reality. It first launched back in November of 2017, and has since received three updates. In the game, players will be able to experience more than 30 hours of multi-level content. Fans are given the option to purchase a starter kit for the game, which includes a Lenovo Mirage AR headset and a Tracking Beacon. Furthermore, a Lightsaber Controller modeled after Rey’s Lightsaber from Star Wars: The Last Jedi is included.
