HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology unveiled two new products – first, the new Alloy FPS RGB Mechanical Keyboard and following that we have the HyperX Cloud Earbuds.

HyperX Alloy FPS RGB Keyboard

The new HyperX Alloy FPS RGB Keyboard is a new edition to the Alloy Lineup which we are pretty familiar with. In fact, it has the same layout and look as the Alloy FPS, which we reviewed here. But what changed is the fact that, the switches are no longer Cherry MX but instead they have opted in for Kailh Silver Speed Switch – which is a linear switch that has a pre travel of 1.1mm and an actuation point of 40GF – basically an ultra light actuation point. With that said, the Alloy FPS RGB – like the name suggests – gets the RGB Treatment finally. In fact, now it even as the capability to customize via HyperX NGenuity Software under the hood. Other than that, you get all the other goodness as the HyperX Alloy FPS – like N Key Rollover, Anti Ghosting and a dedicated USB Charging Port.

HyperX Cloud Earbuds

This is the first time HyperX has made an in-ear earbuds for gaming – but this particular one is targeted toward mobile gamers. It has a 90 degree angled plug and a rubberized, tangle-free cable which gives a very nice and untangled connectivity via Headphone Jack (if you have one). The Cloud Earbuds do have an In-Line remote for in-game chat. It comes with three different silicon eartips for good comfort and listening experience. HyperX claims that it’s ideal for Nintendo Switch or any devices with 3.5mm CTIA Standard Connectors – which you can find on all smartphones.
