Lenovo Malaysia has unveiled its latest ThinkPad laptops in the form of the ThinkPad P1, and ThinkPad P72.

Packed To The Brim With Powerful Hardware

First up, we have the Lenovo ThinkPad P1, which happens to be the lightest and thinnest mobile workstation from the brand. Up front, it packs a 15-inch high-resolution Full HD screen, and sports a signature black finish design. This 1.7kg premium laptop also comes with a glass touchpad. The ThinkPad P1 is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with NVIDIA Quadro graphics. Memory wise, the powerhouse packs 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 256GB GB of SSD storage. The dedicated graphics card also has 4GB of RAM.

Next, we have the Lenovo ThinkPad P72, which is more of a substitute for a desktop computer. It comes with a rather large 17.3-inch Full HD display, and also weighs a hefty 3.4kg. Under the hood, it runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Like the ThinkPad P1, this laptop also packs a graphics card in the form of the NVIDIA Quadro P600 with 4GB of GDRR5 RAM. If you would like to purchase either laptop, be prepared to fork out RM8,719 for the ThinkPad P1, and RM8,920 for the ThinkPad P72.

It should be noted that Malaysia will be receiving the base model of the aforementioned laptops. The top-end variant of both laptops comes with an 8th Gen Intel Xeon processor, and also 4K displays. On top of that, the ThinkPad P1 can support up to 64GB of RAM, while the ThinkPad P72 is able to support up to 128GB of RAM. The more premium versions also come with more storage, with up to 2TB of SSD storage. Lenovo Malaysia has not made any mention of the higher-end variants being sold in Malaysia.
