What everyone thought as an April Fools joke, didn’t end up being one actually. Cloudflare just couldn’t find a better time to unveil their new 1.1.1.1 DNS. Not only it was a new DNS, but it was infact an impressive one. Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS allows users to use any site or app under their own DNS and make sure that the data is private and difficult for internet providers to keep an eye on. In short, it’s getting yourself the privacy in what you do.

With that said, ever since it was made available for PC, it’s pretty easy to configure and get it up and running in no time. On smartphones on the other hand, it did face a little bit of a hiccup. So, finally after a while – Cloudflare has finally introduced 1.1.1.1 as an App on both Android and iOS.

The app is relatively simple and easy to use. There’s no adverts that disturbs what you do nor any spam or spyware. All you have to do is head over to Google Play (click here) or App Store (click here) and download it right away. Once you open up your app, it will ask you to add the profile into the phone’s VPN setting. Once that’s done, you are good to go and you’re up an running on the 1.1.1.1 DNS.

Sounds fun ain’t it? Well, download and see it for yourself. I have to say, having a tool like this coming from CloudFlare shows that they care about privacy and your data. It’s safe. 😊

Headover to CloudFlare to check it out or you can click the respective App Store to download it directly onto your smartphone.

Guess dots do matter.
