So, far what we have seen from Dyson and their products have been pretty phenomenal – in fact, adding technologically advanced features that brings the real deal to the table, in this case, to a room is the key. With their Air Purifiers equipped with POLAR Tested technology which we have spoken about in the past, it still continues to cover more base by detecting more pollutants than the generic CADR. But that’s not the end, as the brand has pushed further bringing more features – an all-new Solid State Formaldehyde Sensing and more – meet the Dyson Purifier Cool Range for 2021.

Dyson Purifier Cool Series

Hello, Solid State Formaldehyde Sensors

Unlike the Pure Cool, Dyson calls this the Purifier Cool Series instead to differentiate from its other line up of products. That said, these new Dyson Purifiers are equipped with the best technology one could ask for which makes the air around you in your room safe and breathable. With us spending more and more time at home, especially since the pandemic happened, Dyson made sure to take things differently. While we are maybe safe from the virus as we social distance, there are harmful gases at home that does affect the air around, which we breathe.

So, the new series have an all-new solid state Formaldehyde Sensing technology. Unlike the gel-based which does deteriorate over the time and has the ability to get confused with other VOC pollution, Dyson’s new and improved solid state formaldehyde sensor works along with the company’s unique algorithm which precisely monitors the formaldehyde levels, leaving the rest of the gases be detected by the dedicated VOC sensor.

HEPA 13 Filtration

Dyson took the filtration system back to the drawing board to come up with a better one, so they re-engineered the machine’s airflow pathway to achieve this: a fully sealed HEPA 13 standard filtration – which makes completely sure that no air can bypass the filter but blocks any potential leak points through which dirty air might enter the airflow, bringing the efficiency of these filters to up to 99.95% and removing particles as small as 0.1 microns. Does that mean these purifiers are going to sound like a noise machine? Nope, in fact, its now 20% quieter too.

We will be diving in-depth breaking down each and every tech the Dyson Air Purifier uses once we put it up for test.

As for the rest of the Dyson Purifier, which we have seen in the previous products – like the Air Multiplier Technology makes its way to the Purifier too – essentially, what it does is that the machine projects purified air to every nick and corner of the room. The Auto mode takes control and maintains a preferred room temperate and air quality levels. Users can choose to control the Dyson Purifier with the help of the Link app or through Voice.

Ranges Available for Malaysia

The Dyson Purifier comes in two different variants: The Purifier Cool and Purifier Cool Formaldehyde. Both packs the same features, except for the fact that the Purifier Cool Formaldehyde is the only one to feature the ability to sense Formaldehyde and Capture from the air. The Purifier Cool comes in two different colors: White with Silver and Black with Nickel Finish, which is priced at RM 2,899, respectively. The Purifier Cool Formaldehyde on the other hand comes in two different colors on its own: White with Gold finish and Nickel with Gold (our personal favorite), which is priced at RM 3,199, respectively. Consumers can purchase the new Purifier Cool Series from the Dyson Official Website or from their Dyson Concept Stores, Experience Zone as well.

P.S. Can’t wait to check out the Formaldehyde System in person. 😉
