Say hello to Synology BeeStation, a product that aims to bring personal cloud storage for everyone and anyone.

The Synology BeeStation does share some traits with their NAS solution, however, it’s a lot more streamlined, more friendly and offers features which most users would need to begin with. For starters, this device aims to bring personal cloud storage to everyone and it focuses on backing up, managing, and sharing files without needing to pay for any monthly subscription and have complete control over your data.
This storage solution comes configured with a whopping 4TB Hard Drive for you to store your work documents, personal data, photos and videos. And files can be accessed anywhere and everywhere as long as it’s connected to the internet – essentially like a cloud storage, but now it’s yours. Users can separate private storage spaces for family members so they to store their files and still maintain privacy very well.
On top of that, they are bringing features like automatic backups of photos and videos from your iOS and Android devices, followed by an AI-powered photo organizer which simplifies the whole organization, for you to go through the photos with the help of people and object recognition. If you plan to consolidate all your scattered data from other services into the BeeStation, its possible as it offers the ability to backup files from Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox and connected USB Devices, making sure you have the files you need at all times.
As for the specification nerds out there, it weighs 820g, and port-wise: you have a 1GbE RJ-45, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 respectively. It’s powered by a Realtek RTD1619B Processor with 1GB DDR4 RAM which is more than sufficient for a device like this. The Synology BeeStation runs on the BeeStation software and is designed in a way that everyone is familiar with.

The Synology BeeStation is available in one configuration and that’s a 4TB storage option, which is more than enough for many users for years to come. That said, it’s available for purchase through their official site for $199 USD or online channels like Shopee and Lazada.
