It’s no surprise that FUJIFILM makes some of the best cameras today with amazing color production, thanks to their proprietary technology and offer impressive power along with it. The new FUJIFILM X-T30 is their new addition to the X Series which is known to offer powerful capabilities in a smaller package. Let’s see what the camera has.

Specification

1/7

The FUJIFILM X-T30 is their new mirrorless camera – it boasts their 4th Generation image sensor and processor which comes in at 26.1 Megapixel resolution with a high-performance AF. This particular sensor they have opted in for has exceptionally low noise performance and outstanding color production. Previously with their early camera, ISO 160 was available as an extended ISO but now it’s available even when you shoot images in RAW. One thing FUJIFILM is known for their camera – it’s their exclusive Film Simulations and this time it has an ETERNA Mode. This particular model allows you to take your whole creativity to another level – like for instance, Monochrome Adjustments, Color Chrome and so much more.

The Image sensor under the hood is their in-house sensor – X-Trans CMOS 4 Image sensor which now has up to 2.16 Phase Detection Pixels, making it shockingly good when capturing sharp pictures. You can even perform low light shots with no issued because the Phase Detection AF points have been expanded to +0.5EV to -3EV respectively. To make this processing and shooting experience, fast and smooth, it uses the X-Processor 4 engine and to make things interesting the AF Algorithm enhancement helps in tracking subject’s face at ease.

Other than the Film Simulation – ETERNA that we mentioned earlier, the X-T30 has the capability to capture 4K | 30FPS Videos and also supports DCI format that uses 17:9 aspect ratio. You can not only record at 4:2:0 8bit to an SD card but the camera supports F-log recording and 4:2:2 10bit via the HDMI port.

Camera Samples

Thanks to FUJIFILM Malaysia, we were able to take the X-T30 for a spin around The LINC KL. These are some of the shots we took with the camera itself. So far, we love what we see but we will talk more about it when we get our hands on the camera soon – to get the review treatment. 😊 The camera we took for a spin is the FUJIFILM X-T30 coupled with a 23mm Prime lens respectively.
