Despite the sad news that HONOR phones are also affected in the process with no GMS baked right into it, well – they are not backing down from launching more smartphones and that said, the 9X Lite which is their upcoming smartphone has some interesting thing to take note of – it might come with Google Mobile Service after all.

HONOR 9X Lite

On the front, the 9X Lite rocks a 6.5” 1080p HONOR FullView Display with a 91% screen-to-body ratio to make things a little immersive. On the front, you’ll notice a notch that houses the camera – in this case, an 8MP Camera with an f/2.0. As for the back of the phone, it comes with a dual camera setup: A 48MP Main Camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 2MP Depth Sensor with an aperture of f/2.4.

Under the hood, the phone features a 3,750 mAh battery with 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Memory which can be expanded with an MicroSD card by up to 512GB. Finally, the device is powered by the 12nm Kirin 710F Chipset. One thing that’s a bit of a turn off is the Port that it uses to charge – a Micro USB Port.

What maybe the highlight of this phone is – the fact that the 9X Lite does come with Google Mobile Services, well, at least thats what it says according to Google’s List of supported Devices or approved devices to run GMS. But we will keep an eye on to see what to expect, considering the fact that we are moments away from HONOR announcing it for the Malaysian market anyway.

So, keep your eyes wide open.
