HUAWEI Malaysia ended Techtober with an exciting launch of a bunch of new products including a new notebook computer, a new smartphone and new accessories designed to improve the lives of consumers with Artificial Intelligence. The newly released products includes a refreshed MateBook 14, the new Huawei Y7a smartphone, HUAWEI’s latest over-ear FreeBuds Studio headphones and the new HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear II.

HUAWEI MateBook 14

HUAWEI has refreshed their much appraised MateBook line-up of notebooks with AMD RyzenTM 4000H Series of mobile CPUs with options between a 6-core 12-thread AMD Ryzen 5 4600H or an 8-core 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 4800H. These top-of-the-line mobile CPUs allow for blistering performance whilst requiring very little power to get them going. The notebook is also equipped with a 2K FullView Display that promises vivid colours, fine details and an excellent overall visual experience.

HUAWEI Y7a

HUAWEI’s latest upper entry-level smartphone comes packing a 6.67” Full HD (2400 x 1400) resolution display that is not only immersive but great for any form of content consumption with reduced eyestrain through minimised blue light emissions certified by TÜV Rheinland. It is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged up with speeds of up to 22.5W through HUAWEI’s SuperCharge technologies that promises 2 hours of video playback with 10 minutes of charge.

HUAWEI FreeBuds Studio

Featuring the world’s first Intelligent Dynamic Noise Cancellation system, the HUAWEI FreeBuds studio comes with three modes of Noise Cancellation for users to choose from based on their environment, namely Ultra, General and Cosy Modes, and then it adjusts the ANC strength accordingly. If in situations where users simply wish to not have ANC, a simple click of the ANC button on the left earcup will switch it to Awareness Mode. The FreeBuds Studio also packs dual Bluetooth antennas in each earcup to eliminate any Bluetooth “blindspots” for the optimal connection stability.

For those looking to enjoy music but prefer to be as stealthy as ever, the second generation of HUAWEI X GENTLE Monster Eyewear utilises a complex stacking technology that shrinks its footprint but at the same time doubled its speaker amplitude for a wide vocal range and richer details. Its slim temples are made of titanium plastic and supports gesture controls for summoning voice assistants, music control and call managements. The eyewear is designed to be stylish and understated yet highly functional.
