ShopeePay users can now use their DuitNow IDs to send and receive funds from other e-wallets and online banking platforms. ShopeePay users will no longer need to type their account number and will instead be able to perform real-time money transfers using their DuitNow ID.
This feature is only available to ShopeePay Premium users who have activated their accounts. ShopeePay Premium account holders have a daily and monthly limit of RM4,999. There are currently no limits to how many transfers a user can perform, and each transaction is also free. ShopeePay users can only use their phone numbers to activate their DuitNow service on the Shopee mobile app.
ShopeePay is also running a special promotion from 16th to 30th September to encourage users to try out the new feature. Users who receive RM50 or more through DuitNow to their ShopeePay account will be eligible to win a Free Shipping voucher.
All ShopeePay Premium account holders will be eligible for one redemption per week, for a total of two redemptions during the campaign period.
