Not too long ago, we got to check out the upcoming Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus, which is set to arrive on the 22nd of April in Malaysia. While the pricing isn’t official yet, based on the leaks we recently noticed, this phone might be priced at RM 1,599 – but pricing all aside, what are you getting under the hood of this smartphone? Let us share.

Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus Malaysia

The Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus is the highest tier smartphone in the Note 50 lineup, which is about to arrive in Malaysia, and it’s no surprise that the star of the show gets the spotlight. Immediately, when you look at the phone, you can’t help but realise the uncanny resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra from the front, but it all fades away once you look at the rear design.

That said, the Pro Plus has hardware that reflects the price point: a 6.78” AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Mediatek Dimensity 8350 with 12GB RAM and 256GB Storage (the additional 12GB, which then totals up to 24GB happens to be that whole storage based expansion), a 5200mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The other highlight is the camera: a triple camera sensor capable of hitting the 100x periscope zoom – one we can only try to find out in the future.

All that packed inside this, aerospace-grade aluminium alloy design – it’s safe to say that Infinix aims to bring this “pseudo-premium” mid-tier experience to the masses without breaking the bank. At the time of writing, Infinix has not disclosed the pricing, but in a recent leak, highlighted by Lowyat.net, it appears that the phone would be priced at RM 1,599 with a free TWS. So, we’ll see if that’s the price Infinix will go for.
