As far as budget-centric devices are concerned, consumers are spoilt for choice. There are a plethora of options to choose from. And with the Realme 14 Series Malaysia launch, two different models catering to different users are now an option you could look into as well.
Realme 14 Series Malaysia
To keep things simple, the Realme 14 Series consists of two model: the Realme 14 and the Realme 14 Pro for those who want slightly more power or edge out of their phones. Both devices are, of course, 5G capable, so it’s something you don’t have to worry about.
Starting with the Realme 14, it’s the first phone to feature the latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, which is aimed at a mid-tier performance, and it’s built on the 4nm architecture. With that, you get either 12GB or 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, respectively. On the front, the phone houses a 6.67” 120Hz display with FHD+ resolution. On the back, you get a dual-camera setup with a 50MP sensor and on the front, there’s a 16MP sensor. With a 6000mAh battery, you are set for your entire day and with a 45W fast charger included inside the box, you are good to go as well.
The Realme 14 Pro, on the other hand, has a bit more performance to offer out of the box, as it features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor with 12GB RAM and a storage option of 256GB or 512GB. Once again, it has an AMOLED display with 6.67” dimensions and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It’s curved on both sides, which might be an acquired taste. The 6000mAh battery comes with support for 45W SUPERVOOC, and for the camera, you are looking at a 50MP Sony IMX882 Sensor and a monochrome camera, which they didn’t specify – and the front-facing camera is still the same 16MP camera.
Apart from the two phones, they briefly announced their new true wireless earbuds: the Realme Buda Air 7, which is aimed at users who want a bit of a better audio experience with LHDC at RM 299 and the Buds T200 Lite, a budget low-latency earbuds for gaming for RM 119.
Pricing and Availability
Both of the Realme 14 phones are available for purchase starting this very month, and the pricing is as follows:
- Realme 14 Pro: RM1,499 (12GB+256GB) and RM 1,799 (12GB+512GB)
- Realme 14: RM1,199 (8GB+256GB) and RM 1,299 (12GB+256GB)
