One brand, we least expected to dive into the audio scene was Dyson – and the British Tech company has done some interesting things, be it from air purifiers, vacuums and now with Headphones. This time, they have launched their new Dyson OnTrac Headphones, which are proper headphones with ANC. Here’s what you get with these RM 2,599 audio cans.

Dyson OnTrac Headphones

The Dyson OnTrac Headphones are their premium headphones that claim to offer a high-fidelity audio experience to consumers. Starting with ANC, it uses a custom algorithm which relies on 8 microphones and samples external sound 384k times a second, to cancel them as accurately as possible. As for the drivers, you are looking at a 40mm 16-ohm neodymium driver with advanced Audio Signal Processing and the entire enclosure is angled at 13 degrees to offer a better delivery of audio to your ears. What’s interesting is that Dyson claims to hit a lower-deeper bass frequency at 6Hz and a higher frequency at 21kHz, which is unheard of.

With these headphones, you can expect to get about 55 hours of battery life with ANC, which is powered by two high-capacity lithium-ion battery cells which is located in the headband for better weight distribution and comfort. Speaking of comfort, you are looking at a headphone, certified by US Ergonomics, which offers impressive acoustic seal and lasting comfort, and with the high-grade foam and pivotal gimbal arms, you are looking at a comfy experience.

The entire headphones have an industrial design that can turn heads, and they use materials like CNC aluminium, copper, and nickel. There’s a Ceramic Cinnabar variant, which has a ceramic-feel painted finish. The outer cups can be customised to however you like. On top of that, you get features like Head Detect, Intuitive Joystick control, Crystal-Clear Calls, and you get complete control with the MyDyson app, which includes software updates, EQ, and so much more.

Pricing and Availability

The Dyson OnTrac Headphones will be available in two finishes: CNC Copper and CNC Black Nickel, which can be purchased for RM 2,599 through Dyson Stores and their Online site. The additional ear cushions and outer caps are going for RM 269, exclusively available through Dyson Stores.
