At CES 2020, Acer also introduced three new Predator gaming monitors – the 32-inch Predator X32, 37.5-inch Predator X38, and the 55-inch Predator CG552K. The Taiwanese company also introduced a new projector, the B250i.

Predator Gaming Monitors

The top of the line monitor happens to be the 32-inch Predator X32. It features NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE, and packs a Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160) display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also has a brightness of 1,440 nits, and provides a 178-degree wide-angle view. Supporting the display is an ergonomic stand with adjustable swivel and height. Meanwhile, it comes with built-in speakers, both of which are 4W stereo speakers. As for ports, the Predator X32 sports four USB 3.0 ports, three HDMI 2.0 ports, along with a DisplayPort 1.4.

Next up is the huge Predator CG552K, which has a giant 55-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 400 nits. On top of that, it comes with Adaptive Sync along with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The monitor doesn’t lack in the port department, and comes with three HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort v1.4 ports, a single USB Type-C port, along with two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Its sound system is made up of two 10W speakers which Acer says will deliver dynamic audio.

Lastly, there is the Predator X38, which is a 37.5-inch UWQHD+ (3,840 x 1,600) monitor with a refresh rate of 175Hz. Like the aforementioned displays, it too supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. Audio is delivered via two 7W speakers, and Acer has included an ergonomic stand. As for ports, it packs four USB 3.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a single HDMI 2.0 port.

Availability & Pricing

The Predator X32 will be available in North America, EMEA, and China in Q2 2020 starting at USD $3,599, ‎€3,299, and  CNY 25,999 respectively. Meanwhile, the Predator CG552K will be available in North America, EMEA, and China in Q3 2020 at USD $2,999, €2,699, and RMB 21,999. Lastly, the Predator X38 will be available in North America, and EMEA in April, while China will receive it in March. Prices start at USD $2,399, €2,199, and RMB 16,999.

Acer B205i Portable LED Projector

Acer also announced the B250i portable LED projector with support for studio sound via its 5W chamber speakers. It also supports full HD 1080p projection, and auto-focus. It is a rather compact device, and only weighs 1,450 grams, with dimensions of 205 x 204 x 78mm. Acer rates the LED module to offer a 30,000 hour lifespan. As for ports, it packs a HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, and a USB Type-A port. Moreover, it supports wireless screen mirroring.

The projector will be available for purchase in North America, and EMEA sometime in April, while China will receive it in March. Prices are USD $699, €699, and RMB 5,699.
