Hey folks. Two days ago, I attended one of the press conference organized by the company called Flash. Who makes awesome devices for that price. And they unveiled their new Flash Plus 2. It’s really good… So, let’s not waste any time and get right into it.

Comparing to the phones that they have released like a while ago, Flash Plus 2 is a whole make over where you not only get good performance but also beautiful design and looks.

Talking about looks, the flash uses a Aluminium body and it’s not a unibody. The casing of the Flash is replaceable. I kinda like the old school way of removing the back and looking through the components. Haha. As they said, the metal on the phone has gone under 7 processes, 240 minutes Refine Technics Metal Casing. Below here, you can see the seven processes.

Flash Plus 2 comes in two colors, that looks attractive. It comes in what they call as Venus Gold and Luna Silver. I like the idea here that they just went for only two colors because if there’s a grey color it won’t make any sense.

Oh did you know it sports a fingerprint sensor. And it’s located on the front of the device. The phone’s front facing fingerprint sensor can unlock in 0.5 seconds and it has a 360 degree identification. It means you don’t have to worry about having your thumb at the right position as you scanned. With this fingerprint sensor, you can not only unlock your device safely but also it has other nifty tricks up its sleeves. First thing is you can use your fingerprint to access private folder. One Finger One App allows us to assign different fingers to open different apps. Something different.

One thing that really caught my attention is the Hi-Fi Support on the phone. Audiophile will get this. You dont have to carry around an extra HiFi DAC &  Amp for your phone as it is built it. Good one, Flash. The Professional Hi-Fi chip that’s found in the phone is the AKM4375 Decoding Chip.

On top of that, the phone has a NXP9890 Audio Amplifier that produces really great sound.

And oh on top of that, they have something called the MIX Production. Where you can remix or even compose your own music on the go.

In the camera department, we have a 0.1 second Mixed AF. It has PDAF, Realtone Flash and the camera is an f2.0. Back Camera has 13MP. The front facing 5MP camera, has a high-CRI LED Flash for selfies. And it has PDAF too. And of course, it has beautify mode on it and the front facing camera has a 84.4 degree ultra-wide angle lens. And you can now have your whole team in your selfie.

To those parents out there who’s trying to take a picture of your kid, worry no more as the app has something called Kid Photography. Generate different animal sound and yep. You have got your kid’s attention.

Let’s get on to the battery department. The Flash Plus 2 has a 3000 mAh battery that they claim it can last for one whole day. And it supports what they call it as the Flash charge. It’s their QC solution and it helps the phone to charge 3 times faster. Thanks to their co-operation with Texas Instrument.

One thing we all nerds care about is the processor in this phone. Here’s what it has under the hood.

The Flash Plus 2 has a 5.5” FHD display with 401ppi. Their One Glass Solution a.k.a OGS technology gives a good visual experience. And the MiraVision 2.0 is what provides the intelligent brightness adjustment and low light optimization features.

It has a Dual SIM triple Card slot. With this phone, you dont have to compromise your second SIM for an SD Card. You get to have both. The supported bands in this phone is listed below.

Finally, we get the finest android on this device. Android M. Marshmallow. Perfect in anyway possible. The phone has gone through some Strict Testing Trusted Quality in order to give us the best device possible.

Now let’s get on to the price. The 2GB RAM variant is going for a whooping USD 160. Which is around RM 660 and the 3GB RAM variant for USD 190, approximately RM 780. It will be available soon in 5 countries and Malaysia is one of them.

I am really interested in getting of these device and give you guys my full opinion and review. Hopefully I can do my best. And thanks to Flash for the press conference.

And that’s all folks. Will catch you guys real soon.
