Panasonic, a company that makes few interesting products till date introduced their new camera from their LUMIX G, which is the GF9. The GF9 is a Digital Single Lens Mirrorless. Small form factor on the outside, interesting tech behind the lens. Let’s just take a quick look at some of the highlights of this camera.

First thing is that it features a 16.0 MP – Digital Live MOS Sensor that lets you shoot some crisp images, thanks to its new Venus Engine that gives you amazing color reproduction and a maximum ISO of 25600 high Sensitivity. And when it comes to focusing, the CAF (Contrast AF) features Depth from Defocus which lets the camera to give that ultra focus of approx. 0.07 sec. Which is super fast. What it does is that it increases the speed and accuracy by exchanging the digital signals between the camera and the lens at a maximum 240 fps.

The camera is indeed compact but get this, it actually shoots QFHD 4K videos in 3840 X 2160 resolution. This gives every single photographers to take amazing 4K Photos. Not just that, you also get to use some of the interesting features like Focus Stacking, Post Focus and Light Composition. And for those who love to get more out of their cameras like Monochrome Mode, Photo Style, Creative Panorama and so on, it’s included. LUMIX GF9 has the RAW lovers covered because it supports RAW format as well

To view all your pictures and the videos right after you shoot, you can view it using the 3.0 inch 1040K-dot rear monitor display. You can navigate with the touch control and also tilt up to 180. Degrees. Which means taking selfie with this camera is easy. One thing I like about this is that, you can actually take high quality Selfies with your loved one and it’s just nice. To sweeten your selfie, you can shoot it in 4K as well.

In terms of connectivity, you have a built in Wi-Fi Connectivity (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). Which means you can actually pair it with your phone and also transfer images. Also, another thing is that when you pair it with your smartphone, you can also use it as a shutter to shoot, which is a super nice touch.

Panasonic is offering the LUMIX GF9 in 4 different colors. Silver, Black, Orange (Which I like) and Pink. Like I mentioned earlier, it is a super compact and nice looking camera that is a beast on the inside. I’d love to try this out on a daily basis on how it performs and the image quality that I get.

And that’s been it folks. Thank you so much for reading this article. Be sure to follow me on my social network because there’s so many stuff coming up. And I’ll catch you guys real soon.
