In less than 3 days, Mi Malaysia will be dropping the two anticipated device, Mi 6 and the Mi Max 2. Just exactly how we dropped our jaws open when they unveiled it for the first time at Beijing.
From Mi Malaysia’s official Teaser, it shows that both the Mi 6 and Mi Max 2 will be available for pre-order on the 31st July at 12PM. And you can pre-order your very own Mi 6 or Mi Max 2 through Mi Official Store on Lazada and for those who stay in Penang, you can also Pre Order at Mi Premium Reseller at Queensbay Mall.
Just to give a quick recap on the specifications. The Mi 6 is currently Xiaomi’s Flagship device that ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 6GB of RAM under the hood. On the back we get their Dual-camera system and their approach on Dual Camera system is different. The second camera acts as a telephoto lens. And now for the Storage Capacity, we are not too sure which one we’ll be getting. But from the picture, it’s pretty clear that we will not be getting the Ceramic Version as the logo on the ceramic Version is Gold in color.
And Mi Max 2, which is a beefed up phablet that comes with 4GB RAM, Dual Speaker, 5300mAh and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which has a 14nm FINFET architecture. Well, it looks like Mi Malaysia is taking things to the next level.
We don’t know anything about the pricing, but I hope the Mi 6 is somewhere within 2-2.4k as it would make the best contender in the Malaysian Market. Same goes for the Mi Max 2, with a price tag within 1-1.5k. Now, let’s wait. 🙂
