Suunto, a brand that’s known for its precise instruments, Sports smart watch and Dive Computers unveiled their new Compact Dive Computer. The Suunto EON Core is more than a Dive Computer because it comes with modern features under the hood. Let’s see whats new with the Suunto EON Core.
Suunto EON Core
The Suunto EON Core features a Color TFT Panel on the front that shows all the graphs and vitals. As it’s a huge display, their prominent display feature lets you see the important large dive info. These dive information looks large and legible. Which makes it easier to read all at a single glance. If you’re one of those person who does night diving, the LED Backlight will be visible too. You can control with these three huge buttons on the sides. As of for the modes, you can choose between 5 modes to cater according to what you prefer.
The enclosure on the EON Core is a re-enforced composite case, which is a lot lighter and comfortable on the wrist. This time around, they’ve added a rechargeable battery. With a single charge, you can dive for about 10-20 hours depending on your settings. The EON Core also connects to your Smartphone via Bluetooth Connection. It’s also compatible with Suunto Tank POD, where you can connect up to 10 Tank PODS. Last but not least, with the EON Core, you also get updates for your software which makes it a great deal.
Pricing and Availability
The EON Core will be available starting from mid-November. It will be sold for a price tag of €699, which roughly converts to RM 3400++ in Malaysia. You can head over to suunto.com to know more about it.
