Samsung had a really great year. With new product releases that had too much power than ever before, they are on fire with devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note8 and the S8 & S8+. Both device have great reputation in the market and it’s pretty positive. Following that, Samsung released their new color for the S8, S8+ and Note8, right in time for Christmas. Samsung also gave me the opportunity to take a closer look at these two devices with their new shade. This is the First look and impressions on these two flagships.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+
In terms of dimension, it obviously looks as same as any other S8 in the market. But the color is different. This is the Rose Pink S8. The Rose Pink shade has a blend of Pink and rose with a pearl like finish. It definitely stands out in crowd and it’s a color that a lot of people will definitely dig. The back is covered in glass and has a shiny finish. More like a Metallic finish, I’d say. The metallic rail on the device is also pink in color, giving it a complete shade all around.
Honestly, it’s a beautiful color and I fell for the particular shade.
Samsung Galaxy Note8
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 on the other hand comes with a color called Soft Pink. This particular finish gives more of a pastel finish. It pops and gives a really chic vibe when you pick it op in hands. The S Pen also comes in the same color as the phone with a metallic pink trim at the bottom with the Samsung logo on it. The metallic rail on this one is also comes in pink, but brighter.
Overall, both device has a really good color that let’s you embrace your chic and also how fabulous you’re. If you love the metallic and subtle color finish, go for the S8 but if you like the popping pink that Betty Cooper rocks, you can never go wrong with the Note8.
Pricing & Availability
Even though it’s a new shade of color, these devices will be sold for the same price as the rest in the bunch. The S8 & S8+ will be retailing for RM3299 and RM3699 respectively. Whereas the Galaxy Note8 will be retailing for RM3999. Every Pink edition purchased will come with a pink Alcantara cover that’s worth up to RM 209* and 20% off on premium flatbed fares by AirAsia X.
