Lenovo, the company that’s known for it’s laptop and computers has refreshed their ThinkPad lineup for 2018. This time they’ve updated the T, X and L. It also comes with the latest features and processors packed under the hood.
ThinkPad X Series
The ThinkPad X has two different model, the X380 Yoga and X280. These laptop comes in the Military configuration that we all are familiar to. It come with Rapid Charge capabilities where the X280 offers upto 16.6 hours and the X380 Yoga upto 13.6 hours of battery life. The X380 Yoga is a versatile machine where you can fold and use it in anyway possible. With that, they’ve stepped up the user experience by adding an Active Pen, IR Camera and Windows Hello.
ThinkPad T Series
The ThinkPad T comes with world class leading security with IR Camera, fingerprint reader and ThinkShutter camera Privacy to protect valuable user data. The T580 has an optional discrete graphics power premium displays up to UHD. These T Series laptop also come with ridiculously long lasting batteries where it has the potential to deliver up to 27 hours. The T480s is one of the lightest business laptop in the T Series, coming in at 2.9 pounds.
ThinkPad L Series
The L Series is here to offer a wider choice for consumers and it now comes in a redesigned thinner and lighter 14 and 15″ inch laptops, and there’s also a new 13-inch version. The L Series also have optional multi-touch displays to step up your game. The ThinkPad L580 also offers new AMD graphics under the hood.
Lenovo Tablet 10
Moving to Lenovo’s new Windows powered Tablet. It’s powered by Intel Celeron N Series processors where it’s designed to handle vertical applications like healthcare and retail. The Tablet 10 also features a fingerprint sensor and a TPM for business class protection. The integrated rechargeable pen, 9 hours of battery life and wireless WAN let’s the user stay connected even after detached.
The ThinkVision monitors comes in two different variant, X24 and P32u. The X24 is an ultra-thin monitor which has more display and very thin bezels. On top of that the Full HD IPS display gives a wider viewing angle and 96% sRGB color gamut.
The P32u on the other hand is a UHD 4K monitory that has multi-color space capability. The 32-inch variant comes with Thunderbolt 3 In and Out ports for daisy chaining. The stands on both of these has the capability to lift, tilt, swivel and pivot.
Pricing and Availability
The ThinkPad X280 starts at $999 USD whereas the X380 Yoga starts at $1,459. The ThinkPad T480 starts at $989, T480s starts ar $1,269 and T580 starts at $1,079. These two series will be available starting January 2018.
The ThinkPad L on the other hand will only be available starting February 2018. The ThinkPad L380 Yoga starts at $549, L380 starts at $449, L480 starts at $779 and L580 starts at $769.
The ThinkVision X24 will be priced at $249 and will be available right along with the ThinkPad X and T Series. On the other hand, the P32u is priced at $1,349 and will only be available later in March 2018.
The pricing for the Lenovo Tablet 10 isn’t out yet but it will also be available starting from this month. We will keep you posted on the pricing and when it will be available in Malaysia.
