Earlier at MWC 2018, we saw Nokia unveiling their Android One lineup and their resurrected classic smartphone, Nokia 8110. Following that, Nokia unveiled another smartphone and this time it’s more of an entry smartphone and runs Android Go, a stripped down version of android to make sure even entry level smartphones perform well over time. It’s the Nokia 1.
Well, yes it isn’t a flagship smartphone or something. It’s more of entry level smartphone that does basic tasks. On the front the device packs a 4.5″ display, followed by a 2MP Front Facing camera. On the back it has a 5MP Camera with Flash. It comes with 2 SIM Slots and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
What makes the Nokia 1 standout is the fact that it features a removable shell which they call it the Xpress-on covers, it’s more like the classic Nokia where you get to swap your shell for something cool. The other thing is that it runs Android Go. This particular version comes with only essential features, making it light and easier to use.
