The Samsung Smart School program was first introduced back in 2013, and aims to deliver a broad and interactive learning experience to students. Making use of education tablets and apps from the South Korean brand, it is said to help refine the interest of students. Also, the program focuses on subjects involving Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The firm also seeks to inspire students across Southeast Asia, especially in underserved areas. Furthermore, Samsung wants to help youngsters bridge the digital skill gap. It believes that doing so, this will help the communities thrive.

According to Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Malaysia, the Smart School program has supported more than 1 million students worldwide. She added that Samsung believes through technology, STEM education would be more enjoyable and easy to follow. This leads students to think out of the box and Do What They Can’t.
