After a while, Nokia is finally back with two of their new smartphones for the Malaysian Market. This time it’s the Nokia 6.1 and the infamous banana phone, Nokia 8110.

Nokia 6.1

The Nokia 6.1 is another mid-tier smartphone from them which happens to power the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630. As for the RAM, it comes with 4GB DDR4 and an internal storage of 64GB. Yes, you can upgrade your storage with a Micro SD card. It comes with a 5.5” FHD display with a ratio we are familiar with – 16:9. As for the camera, the Nokia 6.1 has a 16MP Rear Facing shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the front, you’ll get a 8MP camera with f/2.0. Since it’s a relatively small phone, the Nokia 6.1 has a 3000 mAh battery – which should last for a day at least.

Other than that, the Nokia 6.1 follows their same core DNA with the rest of the Nokia Smartphone. The phone is constructed with the Aluminum 6000 series to give that durable and solid build quality. On the front, you’ll notice it has a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it from deep scratches and sorts.

Nokia 8110

This is possibly the phone I personally have been looking forward to and it’s finally here. It’s time to go bananas over this beauty. The Nokia 8110 is their newly resurrected phone with has more capabilities than you think. Starting off with the crystal-clear VoLTE support and 4G with no hassle. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205, this adds one extra feature to it. That is using the phone as a hotspot.

If you’re wondering what the phone is running – it runs a hybrid OS called Kai OS. It’s a blend of Android and it is made for people who prefer to take their Feature phone game to the next level.

Pricing and Availability

The Nokia 6.1 will be available in three different colors – Blue Copper, Blue Silver and Grey Silver. It will be priced at RM 1,110. The Nokia 8110 on the other hand is available for RM 285 with two different colors – Traditional Black and Banana Yellow.

So, time to get your Nokia 8110 from your nearest stores right away! 😀
