Following their Number 1 Fitness tracker, Fitbit has unveiled their successor – meet the new Fitbit Charge 3. This time has features and a lot of improvement over it’s predecessor.

Fitbit Charge 3

The New Charge 3 now has a bigger screen on the front and it’s covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an Aerospace Grade Aluminum shell. It also happens to have an induction button to press and turn the display on. They have implemented this to make the Charge 3 to have a complete waterproof design and have more space to include sensors. With that said, it has a bigger battery that offers up to 7 days of use. The Charge 3 houses a HR Monitor sensor on the back that gives accurate heart rate monitoring – be it during workout or running errands.

Other than that, we have Goal based exercises modes like biking, swimming and sorts where you can set the goals. If you are someone who likes to swim, you can take the Charge 3 for a dip and it is water resistant up to 50M. It uses the GPS on your smartphone to track your location when you are going for a run, as it doesn’t have a built in GPS. As for females, the Charge 3 supports Female Health Tracking – with the help of the Fitbit app, logging period and ovulation will be easy.

Other than that, we have the usual Personalized Insights, Social Motivation and 24/7 guidance that allows us to move when we are idle, track our sleep, give us more insights and much more. Thanks to the custom dashboard, you can also look at your progress at a glance. The Charge 3 also has support for Notification and Quick Replies, included essential apps like alarm. Finally, it will also be supporting some of the popular apps in the near future.
