We all know for a fact that people opt in for Team Blue but what if I told you there’s always another option. This is where AMD Mobile Processor powered laptops come into play.

AMD Ryzen Mobile

AMD Ryzen powered laptops are now a thing. Just like how they made a huge impact on the PC Segment with their various processor offerings like the Ryzen 3, 5 and 7. With the help of the multi-threadding processing technology – it gives a really good performance. Not only, AMD offers premium graphics and efficient computing, be it for work or play.

In Malaysia, AMD sure does offer a fine selection for it’s consumer with some of the interesting brands around – like Asus, Acer and many more. In fact you can take a look at some of em that actually is available to purchase. By the way, the new generation comes with Integrated Vega Graphics to seal the deal.


Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-42-R8SH) is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 2500U Processor with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics. It even comes with AMD Radeon RX 560X with 4GB GDDR5 Memory under the hood. Acer Swift 3 also comes with the same processor but a much more stripped out GPU, the AMD Radeon 540 with 3GB GDDR5. The Aspire 3 packs the same processor but an AMD Radeon 535 with 2GB GDDR5.

If you are looking for an affordable option, then you can get the Aspire 3 with comes with a Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega 3 Graphics integrated. On top of that, you also get an AMD Radeon 535 with 2GB of GDDR5.


HP has three options available. Starting off with a base variant, the HP 14 comes with a Ryzen 3 with Radeon Vega 3 and a dedicated Radeon 520 with 2GB DDR3. The HP Envy X360 on the other hand is available both in Ryzen 3 with Radeon Vega 6 and Ryzen 5 with Radeon Vega 8.


Finally we have Lenovo. They have a Lenovo Yoga 530 with a Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega 8. Following that, they also have the IdeaPad 330 series which comes in two different variant – a Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega 3 and an AMD Radeon 535 and a Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega 8 and a AMD Radeon 540.

They also have the IdeaPad 720 S – one with a Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega 8 and the only Ryzen 7 2700U with a Vega 10 Graphics.
