One of the interesting trends when it comes to laptops – especially with ASUS in this case is having more screens on their device. One of the series that has been a huge thing among the consumer segment is the Vivobook series – offering pristine performance and a good look at a price consumers can afford without thinking twice. That being said, the new Vivobook S14 and S15 made its debut in Computex and the best part is that – it gets the ScreenPad 2.0 too.

ASUS Vivobook S14 and S15

Taking a step further with the productivity counterpart, the ASUS Vivibook S14 and 15 are another two laptops that’s getting the ScreenPad treatment. In fact, these laptops will be receiving the updated ScreenPad 2.0 which is powered by the ScreenXpert Software. On top of that, it has features like Quick Key which enables one-tap automation of complex keyboard shortcuts, Handwriting for natural text input and Number Key as well. Just as we mentioned in the Zenbook 13 article, which also gets the ScreenPad treatment, third party developers can use ASUS API to optimize their software and user experience as well.

More Colors, More Pop


Both the laptop comes in a new metal chassis – in handful number of colors like Moss Green, Punk Pink, Cobalt Blue, Transparent Silver and Gun metal as well. The Vivobook features a NanoEdge display on the front giving it a much more immersive feel to it. The laptop isn’t that heavy either as it comes in at 1.4kg and 1.8kg respectively. In terms of specification, these laptops comes with the following specification under the hood.

In fact, these consumer laptops have support for Intel-powered Wi-Fi 6 – which means that it will be able to support the new 802.11ax that has 3 times faster speed than 802.11ac. As for the security counterpart, the laptop has built in IR Camera which offers hands-free face login as well.
