Mi 9T Pro, Now Official in Malaysia – Starting at RM 1599

Earlier, Xiaomi Malaysia announced the Mi 9T and it really took over a lot of attention. Now that the Mi 9T Pro is official in Malaysia, lets see some of the differences and what changes you see with the Mi 9T.

On the outside, the Mi 9T Pro is exactly the same as the Mi 9T – it follows the exact design and build quality, with the pop-up front facing camera, a holo like design on the back of the phone with the triple camera setup and an bezeless display on the front that just looks pleasing to the eyes. But when you take a look at the inside, this is where you will notice the changes.

Replacing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 on the Mi 9T, the Mi 9T Pro comes with a Snapdragon 855 clocked in at 2.8GHz coupled with 6GB RAM and a storage option of 64GB or 128GB respectively. In order to make things smooth, the Mi 9T Pro comes with a Graphite Cooling System which maintains the temperature well under heavy tasks such as gaming and so much more. On the front, you can find the 6.39” FHD+ AMOLED Display which is bezeless and has a really nice look to it with support for Netflix HD and HDR.

Under the hood, you will notice that the phone has a 4000mAh battery and instead of an 18W charger that comes with the Mi 9T, the Pro comes with a 27W Charger which is blazing fast and Xiaomi claims that it can charge about 58% in 30 minutes. Just like the Mi 9T it does not have a Qi Wireless charging capability which is an essential feature for me, but you do have other features like NFC, Dual GPS and even the Hi-Res Audio support via a 3.5mm Headphone Jack.

Pricing and Availability

Starting today, the Mi 9T Pro will be sold for RM 1599 for the 64GB and RM 1799 for the 128GB. The Mi 9T will be made available throughout all the Mi Stores in Malaysia and on the Official LazMall Mi Store as well.
