Following the same routine, leaks after leaks, one of the highly anticipated smartphones of the year is now out and there’s not one but two smartphones instead. Meet the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+.
Galaxy Note 10 | Galaxy Note 10+
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is the Note that we are familiar with, because of its relatively same screen size as the predecessors – the Note8 and the Note9. Coming in with a 6.3” Dynamic AMOLED Display which is now only Full HD+ and yes, it’s an Infinity O display with HDR10+ Certification.
In terms of the camera, the Note 10 features a triple camera setup on the back – a primary 12MP sensor with variable apertures at f/1.5 and f/2.4, a secondary ultrawide 16MP Camera with an angle of 123 degree and a third camera with 12MP Telephoto sensor. On the front, the Note10 boasts a 10MP Selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
Under the hood, the Note10 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or a Samsung Exynos 9825 depending on which market you live in. As for Malaysia, we will be getting the Exynos variant of it. As for the RAM, the Note10 comes with a fixed 8GB RAM and only the 5G variant will have a 12GB RAM. It comes with a 256GB Internal Storage and this time around the Note10 no longer has an MicroSD Card but boasts a Dual SIM slot.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ on the other hand is the beefed-up version. It packs a 6.8” Quad HD Dynamic AMOLED Display with the same Infinity-O treatment and it’s also HDR10+ Certified. On the back, instead of a triple camera setup, the Note10+ features a Quad camera setup – where you have the exact same sensors as the Note10 with an additional DepthVision Camera – also known as the Depth Sensor. On the front, it also has the same 10MP Camera as well.
Under the hood, this is where things get a little interesting. The Note10+ comes in two different configuration – and it comes with 12GB RAM by default, but you have the option to pick between a 256GB or a 512GB Internal configuration. Now the Note10+ is the only one that has a Hybrid SIM Tray where you can have the option to have two SIM or one sim and an MicroSD Card. The battery on this is huge as well, coming in at 4,300 mAh respectively.
