Following the launches of original Mi 9 and its variants earlier this year, Xiaomi Malaysia has announced that the Snapdragon 710 powered Mi 9 Lite will be arriving locally next month.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite features a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, 6GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and a battery capacity of 4030mAh with 18W Quick Charge 4 support.
Camera-wise, the phone is equipped with a rear triple camera setup that includes a 48MP main, 8MP ultra wide-angle, and 2MP depth sensor. Housed in the display’s dewdrop notch is a 32MP selfie camera. Aside from the familiar photo enhancements found in the camera app in other Xiaomi phones, the Mi 9 Lite also features the new AI Skyscaping mode that enhances the colours and details of the sky in your captured photos or even replace it with a more “photogenic” one. Groovy.
The Mi 9 Lite is available in Pearl White, Aurora Blue, and Onyx Grey colours. The new Xiaomi smartphone will be available starting from 1st November with the 64GB variant to be released exclusively in the official Mi Store on Lazada and Shopee for RM1199, while the 128GB variant is priced at RM1299 through online and on-ground authorised Mi Stores nationwide.
