Huawei Malaysia has announced yet another mid-tier smartphone for consumers with a decent specification under the hood and what makes the phone appealing is, just like the HONOR 9X which we saw not too long ago, the Huawei Y9s has support for Google Services.

As we mentioned earlier, the Huawei Y9s is a mid-tier smartphone. It happens to have a 6.59” Ultra FullView Display that has a display ratio of 91% for immersive viewing experience. It also comes in a resolution of FHD+ making it better. The device rocks a HiSilicon Kirin 710f with 6GB RAM and a storage of 128GB which can be expanded with the help of an MicroSD Card. On top of that, it packs a 4000mAh battery under the hood that lets you go out without worrying about bringing a battery bank with you and as for charging, it has a 10W Charger included in the box.

As the display is notchless, the front facing camera is hidden in a pop-up camera format. As for the back, it has a triple camera that lets you take – Ultrawide shots and even a sensor that as a 48MP that lets you take super clear image at the same time. Finally, as for security – it houses a side mounted fingerprint sensor that claims to unlock the phone in just about 0.3 seconds.

Pricing and Availability

The Huawei Y9s will be available in two different colors – Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal. The phone will be sold at a relatively affordable price tag, at just RM 999. The Y9s will be available for purchase starting this 29th November and as for those who purchases on that same day will be entitled for an Huawei Band 4 that’s worth RM 139 – which is available based on first come, first serve basis, obviously.
