One of the most interesting devices launched at CES 2020 happens to come from Acer. The firm launched a number of products from its ConceptD portfolio, and do they sound good!
Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel Series
First, let’s cover the ConceptD 7 Ezel series, which comprises of the ConceptD 7 Ezel and the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro, both of which are convertible notebooks. Featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU’s the two notebooks sport a UHD (3,840 x 2,160) touch display. The panel has the ability to swivel as well as rotate into five different modes, namely; sharing, floating, stand, pad, and display modes. Powering the Pro variant is an Intel Xeon processor, coupled with an NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPU, along with ECC memory support. Meanwhile, the base version features up to a 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processor, and also a RTX GPU. Memory wise, it can support up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and 2TB of NVMe PCIe SSDs. Both notebooks run on Windows 10 Pro.
Acer ConceptD 700 Workstation
Next up, we have the ConceptD 700 workstation which is packed with hardware. It features an Intel Xeon E processor and supports up to a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 GPU. On top of that, it can support up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and a PCI M.2 SSD, with the option to expand via 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives. Also, there is an integrated lock and burglar alarm to protect the PC from theft.
When it comes to the design, it features a modern Scandinavian-inspired casing, coupled with a white finish and wooden top. This workstation is geared towards creatives, and supports the Wacom EMR pen. At the top of the workstation, Acer has included a space for wireless charging, as well as a headset holder.
Pricing & Availability
The Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel will be available in North America, EMEA, and China, starting at USD $2,699, €2,499, and RMB 19,999 respectively. Meanwhile, the Pro version will also be available in the aforementioned territories, starting at USD $3,099, €2,999, and RMB 21,999. As for the ConceptD 700, it will be available in EMEA sometime in March, starting at €1,699.
