Sony paves their way through CES 2020 with some cool announcements earlier and that said, one of it was their new Bravia TVs for the market. This time they have announced their new 8K LED, 4K OLED and 4K LED TVs with technologies we have previously seen with the Sony Master series. That said, they pack quite the punch.
Sony TVs are powered by their infamouns X1 Ultimate processor that allows the display to push clear and precise quality, offering true to life experience. Combine with their TRILUMINOS Display, Sony adds colors that adds more pop and offering more shades of Red, Green and Blue like never before. It also comes equipped with Netflix Calibrated Mode, a mode that let’s users consume shows the way the creators intended to. They have announced 4 different models this time around.
Sony Z8H
The Sony Z8H is their 8K LED TV that promises to deliver super high 8K picture quality which coupled with the X1 Ultimate to give users the crisp and high contrast content in their living room. The display is also capable of pushing upto 120 fps in 4K, which means gaming on this behemoth is going to such a joy. The Full Array LED gives more realistic brightness, good shadow and deeper blacks than a standard LED TV does. As for audio, their new Frame Tweeter technology lets user experience sound from the picture while maintaining a super slim profile overall. It runs the Android 9 Pie and has the support for Apple AirPlay and HomeKit, not to forget hands-free capabilities. That said, they have made the whole experience, user friendly by offering a new backlit remote controller as well. The Z8H supports Dolby Vision and Atmos as well. It comes in one size which is 88” inch.
Sony A8H
The A8H comes in two different sizes – 65” and 55” and uses an OLED Panel. It’s powered by the new X1 Ultimate processor and offers a Pixel Contrast Booster to give a much more punchy brightness and that coupled with TRILUMINOS, you get to experience good colors as well. The OLED panel now supports X-Motion Clarity Technology, which gives every movie you watch that good viewing experience. It also supports Dolby Atmos and Vision, comes with Android 9 Pie with the support for Apple AirPlay and HomeKit.
Sony X90H
The X90H is their new mid-tier Bravia TV with Full Array LED panels. It comes in 4 different sizes – 85”, 75”, 65” and 55” respectively. It offers an Acoustic Multi-Audio with X-Balanced Speaker with support for Dolby Vision and Atmos. One nice thing about the X90H is the bezels are relatively thin which gives an immersive viewing experience. It’s also 4K 120fps compatible, has support for Apple AirPlay and HomeKit and finally runs on Android 9 Pie.
Sony X80H
Finally, we have the X80H 4K TV that comes in 4 different sizes – 49”, 55”, 65” and 75” which has a 4K HDR X1 Processor to produce more depth, textures and natural colors with Object-based HDR Remaster technology. It uses the same X-Balances Speaker but only available from models 55” and onwards. Once again, just like the other TVs, the X80H also supports Apple AirPlay and HomeKit, runs on Android 9 Pie and has support for Dolby Vision and Atmos as well.
