Samsung Malaysia recently released its latest air conditioning unit, in the form of the AR9500T. This is Samsung’s followup to the previous generation, AR9500M. Just like the previous model, the AR9500T features Samsung Wind-Free technology, and also happens to be the first still-air unit with adaptive cooling plus AI capabilities.
Combination of an advanced airflow mechanism and AI Auto Cooling
Samsung’s latest product eliminates the need to deal with direct, cold drafts due to its Wind-Free technology and its 3-Step cooling mode. What does the 3-Step cooling mode consist of? Well, in the first step, temperature is lowered quickly in Fast Cooling mode, followed by a dehumidifying feature to set the level of humidity. Lastly, Wind-Free Cooling mode is activated once the desired temperature is reached. This is to maintain the levels achieved earlier.
Also, it is a rather smart unit, and is able to analyze room conditions, user-preferred temperatures and cooling modes, and also the climate outdoors. It is then able to automatically switch to the most appropriate setting. In addition, users can control and monitor the air conditioner via the SmartThings app.

According to Samsung, this allows consumers to maintain their desired temperature and reduce energy consumption. Samsung’s AR9500T Wind-Free air conditioner is available for purchase at all Samsung Brand Stores nationwide. There are four variants: 1.0 hp (RM2,399), 1.5 hp (RM2,699), 2.0 hp (RM3,699), and 2.5 hp (RM 4,399). Currently, Samsung Malaysia is running a purchase with purchase promotion till 31st May.
