It’s a given fact that consumers are definitely opting in or moving to a Noise-Cancelling headphone these days because of how it isolates and honestly, a best friend when it comes to travelling. Well, Philips Malaysia isn’t any stranger to the audio division, and they have brought in their new Over-ear Noise Cancelling Headphones, the Philips TAPH805 which is available in Malaysia.
The Philips TAPH805 is their Wireless over-ear noise cancelling headphones – in fact a good looking one weighing in at 235 grams. The key highlight is the fact that it uses an (ANC) Advanced Active Noise Cancelling technology to cancel out noise with 4 ECM Microphones – with 2 feed-back microphones inside the earcup and 2 feed-forward microphones outside the earcup. Other than that, it uses touch interface to control the music and does sport features like Awareness mode where you can listen to your music and your surroundings. Philips opted in for a 40mm neodymium acoustic drivers for that high res performance with a wide HRA-accredited bandwidth of 7 to 40,000Hz. To top it off, the TAPH805 has support for Voice-assistant – be it Siri or Google Assistant. It comes with the Bluetooth 5.0 for better connectivity.
The headphone claims to offer up to 30 hours of playtime or talk time. That said, it has two interestingly different charging methods to go about – with Rapid Charge, you can get 2 hours of playtime with 5 minutes of charging and Quick Charge, you can get 6 hours of playtime with 6 hours of playtime – that’s impressive.
