Asus Zenbook lineup has been a popular ultrabook choice for most of the users out there in the market and the new Zenbook has been revamped with some interesting design changes and a spec bump for 2020 – that said, here’s the ASUS Zenbook 13 (UX325) and Zenbook 14 (UX425).
Asus Zenbook 13 and 14
These newer Zenbook 13 and 14 are replacing the last generation Zenbook and with that in mind, we get a new design and some interesting choice of change in design to make it stand out for various reasons. It’s still the world’s slimmest laptop coming in at 13.9mm for both the variants and as for the weight, the laptop weighs in at 1.07kg for the 13 and 1.13kg for the 14 and it still boasts the US Military Grade 810G Standard for its ruggedness.
Despite the thin profile, they have managed to cram in almost all the ports. Yes, almost. On the right side, it comes with a Full Size USB-A and a MicroSD Slot whereas on the left side, it comes with a HDMI and 2x Thunderbolt port, which is a welcoming addition in today’s world for faster transfer speeds. If you really notice, the Headphone jack is gone and they have included an ASUS USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack DAC adapter.
As for the rest, it comes in the similar design as the Zenbook Duo we saw last year, with the off centered logo, and the brushed finish. On the inside, the bezels have trimmed down to 2.5mm, giving a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It runs the latest 10th Generation Intel Processor, supports WiFi 6 as well. Pricing and Availability
ASUS Malaysia has announced the pricing for both the variants – the Zenbook 13 and 14 will be made available in two configurations: Core i7-1065G7 which will be priced at RM 4,699 and Core i5-1035G1 at RM 3,999. The Zenbook 13 comes in one color: Pine Grey but the Zenbook 14 will be available in two colors: Pine Grey and Lilac Mist.
