Despite the whole COVID Pandemic, Samsung still went ahead and brought their first ever Unpacked launch virtually and unveiled the all new lineup of Samsung Galaxy devices for August: the new Samsung Galaxy Note20 Series, Galaxy Tab S7 Series, the all-new Galaxy Watch 3 and the Buds Live. That said, in this article we are going to look at each of them one at a time.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Series

Coming in hot, after all the leaks – its finally here. The Samsung Galaxy Note20 comes in two different variants but this time a little different. Unlike last year, where we had a Plus variant – this year, is the year of the Ultra. So, the new lineup consist of the Note20 and the Note20 Ultra 5G.

The phone specification is pretty impressive – with a 6.7” FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display on the Note20 and a 6.9” edge Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 120Hz baked right into it. Both the display still have the infinity-O design on it which houses the new camera. On the back, the Note20 packs a triple camera setup – with a 12MP Ultra Wide, 12MP Wide Angle and a 64MP Telephoto Camera and the support for Space zoom upto 3X. The bigger Note20 Ultra comes with a Triple camera setup but a 12MP Ultra Wide, a whopping 108MP Wide Angle and a 12MP Telephoto sensor with Space Zoom as well. But it also gets a Laser AF Sensor for better autofocusing capabilities.

Under the hood the Note20 comes in 2 different variant – the LTE and 5G. Both the variant packs the same 8GB RAM and 256GB internal Storage. The Note20 Ultra comes only in 5G – and houses a 12GB RAM with 256GB Internal Storage. As for the battery, the Note20 has a 4,300mAh and the Note20 Ultra 5G has a 4,500mAh respectively.

This time, Samsung has gone further to make the S Pen even more versatile – now customers can use their very same S Pen on the Note20 over on the newly announced Tab S7 Series for better convenience and continuity. With their strong as ever collaboration with Microsoft, they have brough in some impressive features to integrate the whole experience and make it one – with apps like Your Phone App with Link to Windows. There’s even a new Samsung Notes App for you to fiddle around to unleash the full potential of the app itself.

That’s just the app side of things. The hardware got a little more interesting: with a 21:9 aspect ratio display giving the display the ability to watch cinematic content on the go at ease. Once again, with the amazing display, they have also teamed up with Xbox to allow users to play their favorite Xbox games on the new Note20. Finally, the phone features a new Advanced Samsung Dex where users can now connect their Galaxy Note20 to a smart TV wirelessly and use Samsung Dex.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Series

Samsung Galaxy Watch3

Despite the trimmed down look and feel of the whole Galaxy Watch3, it still retains the infamous rotating dial for users who prefer – that particular dial. This time around, they have also added wellness feature to make it even a better companion for workout and fitness – such as the Blood Oxygen feature, cuff-less Blood Pressure and Electrocardiogram measurements – in selected markets. Most of all, it has a fall detection feature where it will immediately send a alert to pre-designated contact. Comes in two different sizes – 41mm and 45mm.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live

Remember the bean like true wireless earbuds? Well, that’s real. Meet the new Galaxy Buds Live – their Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless earbuds which houses a 12mm speaker co-engineered with AKG. It comes with three microphones and Voice Pickup Unit that makes you feel like you are in the same room as your better half or loved ones even when you are away – which is interesting and we cant say much – not going to lie – we want to try that.
