Acer updates their creator-focused ConceptD line-up with a new ConceptD 300 mid-tower desktop and refreshed ConceptD 7 notebooks so the professionals get the latest and greatest technologies that boosts their work efficiency and performance. Optimised for graphical workflows and technical design, the ConceptD PCs feature a timeless design and professional displays.

Acer ConceptD 300

The latest addition to the ConceptD line-up is the mid-tower ConceptD 300 that has a breath-taking design finished in pure white so it looks clean when paired with a matching monitor from Acer. The 18L tower is small and aesthetic enough to blend in perfectly within any workplace, adding in a touch of zen with a wooden top panel and a pinch of modern design with a triangular-patterned front air intake and side ventilation that allows for noise levels quieter than a library.

Hidden underneath the eye-pleasing chassis is a combination of components that offer nothing but top tier performance. Users can customise the ConceptD 300 to include up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 CPU, the latest generation of graphical processing in the form of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory clocked at 2666 MHz and storage capacities that can be optioned up to a 4 TB harddisk drive and a blistering fast 1 TB of PCIe M.2 SSD. It also packs a lot of I/O so users do not have to reach for dongles, with multiple USB 3.2 Type A ports, a full-sized SD card reader and a USB Type-C port for display output as well as data transfer.

Acer ConceptD 7 Notebooks

Acer’s ConceptD 7 and the ConceptD 7 Pro are both updated to reflect advancements in technologies since their debut, now with even more performance, better display technology and superior cooling. A pure white aesthetic is also adopted for both of the Acer’s high performance latest thin-and-lights with a new layer of solid ceramic coating on metal surfaces that provides protection, strength and resistance towards dirt accumulation and yellowing.

The ConceptD 7 Pro can now be optioned with up to a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU that packs 3072 CUDA Cores, 48 RT Cores, 384 Tensor Cores and 16 GBs of GDDR6 GPU memory so professionals who need such graphical grunt can work on their projects while on the go. The ConceptD 7 is no slouch either, packing a NVDIA GeForce RTX GPU instead of a Quadro but still offers plenty of graphical performance for digital design and content creation on the fly.

Both ConceptD 7 laptops come equipped with a 15.6” UHD 4K IPS panel that is PANTONE Validated for 100% of AdobeRGB colour gamut coverage and precise colour accuracy with a Delta E < 2. They also includes Acer’s latest Vortex Flow triple-fan thermal cooling technologies to keep noise floor below 40 dBA while not compromising on device cooling under sustained loads even with the powerful 10th Generation Intel Core processors and the NVIDIA GPUs.

Acer did not skip on I/O that professionals need to reduce need for adaptors, with a slew of USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Thunderbolt 3 support and DisplayPort for a multitude of display and data transfer options. The notebooks also include Intel’s WiFi 6 (Gig+) technologies for fast and reliable wireless network connections with much reduced latency. The notebooks also feature DTS X: Ultra Audio for improved audio quality said to improve the experience of live streams, presentations and meetings
