Dyson products in general have a state-of-the-art design going on with pretty much all the product that’s available in the Malaysian market. That said, this time around Dyson is unveiling a new Limited-Edition Copper Colorway in celebration of the core copper technology which is powering two products – Dyson Airwrap and Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer.
Dyson Copper Colorway
The whole idea behind the new colorway on the new Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and Airwrap – is the brand’s way of paying homage to the copper elements used in the engineering of the Dyson Digital Motor V9 which is found in both the product. It’s the arc of the product and the digital motor is interestingly small and unlike other conventional product, the Digital Motor is placed in the handle which shifts the center of gravity and balance in your hands. The 13-blade impeller in it spins at a whopping 110,000 rpm, generating a 3.2kPa of pressure and propelling 13 liters of air every second. That motor we spoke about is combined with Air Multiplier technology to deliver high performing fast drying.
That said, the Copper Colorway will be available in two different product – Dyson Supersonic hair Dryer which is in the name itself, shows that it’s a hair dryer but uses a fast but focused airflow with good balance in hand and quiet control. Unlike other conventional hair dryers, the supersonic controls the temperature to protect your hair from heat damage.
The other product will be their Airwrap Styler – for those who wants to curl and make their hair wavy – once again, it takes precautions by preventing extreme heat damage. It uses a phenomenon called Coanda Effect which we will talk about it in another article.
Pricing and Availability
The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer goes for the price of RM1799 whereas the Airwrap styler is priced at RM2199 respectively. It comes with a presentation case and a copper edged storage bag which will be available only through purchase via Dyson’s Official Site and Demo Stores located at The Gardens, Mid Valley Southkey and Demo Zone Beauty Lab – 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid and Dyson Demo Beauty Lab at Queensbay Mall.
