Epson, one of Malaysia’s leading ink tank printer vendor announced that six new Epson EcoTank series printers will be joining its ever-growing line of printers. These 6 new models cater to a wider spectrum of printing needs such as A4 to A3+ size, single to multifunction, 4 to 6-colour inks and monochrome printing requirements, as well as, faster print speed.
Introducing new Epson EcoTank series printers
The six new Epson EcoTank printers include:
- Epson EcoTank L6550
- Epson EcoTank L6580
- Epson EcoTank M15140
- Epson EcoTank L15150
- Epson EcoTank L15160
- Epson EcoTank L14150
The 6 new models are powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore Printhead Technology which delivers increased speeds and better image quality. This Epson inkjet technology is also Heat-Free, which streamlines the printing process for a long-term cost advantage with added environmental benefits.
Furthermore, Epson claims that businesses can save more as they print seeing that there is no heat being generated by these printers. They also have low power consumption, less printer downtime, and fewer replacement parts which means less waste for the environment.
5 out of the 6 newly introduced printers also feature the new DURABrite ET ink that allows for water and smudge resistance. This includes text, barcodes and images – for high-quality business documents.
The new EcoTank L6550 and L6580 are two compact, high-performance multifunction printers that offer an ideal business printing solution with a low total cost of ownership. The EcoTank L6550 is suitable for users who require basic A4 colour multifunction printers.
The EcoTank L6580, with its print speed of 25ipm for both mono and colour and fast print out time of 5.5 seconds, is more suitable for users who require faster colour speed and support for printing applications with its PCL and PostScript capability.
Furthermore, the L6580 can deliver up to 7,500 pages in black and up to 6,000 pages in colour without replacement while producing impeccable print quality. These high page yield ink bottles produce sharp, crisp, and water-resistant prints that are ideal for the high-quality mono and colour printing requirements of businesses.
Next on the list of new printer models is the Epson EcoTank M15140. The M15140 is Epson’s first A3 EcoTank monochrome printer that is compact in size and features a cost-effective monochrome printing solution that is powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore Technology. The printer can also print at 25ipm up to A3+ size, scan, and copy at high speed, making it ideal for retail and corporate offices.
Lastly, the EcoTank L15150 and L15160 are compact, wide-format and multifunction A3 ink tank printers with the capacity for high-performance continuous printing in both colour and black-and-white. The EcoTank L14150, on the other hand, is a compact A4+ ink tank printer that offers scan and copy functions for both legal and folio size on its flatbed, as well as up to A3+ simplex printing via the rear paper feed slot.
These models feature print, scan and copy capabilities at high speed with duplex printing available for up to A3 size for the L15150 and L15160, and up to A4 size for the L14150. Similarly, these models also come with Epson’s PrecisionCore technology. They can deliver up to 4800dpi quality printouts, with a page yield of up to 7,500 pages for black and 6,000 pages for colour with affordable inks.
Scanning and editing are also simplified with Epson ScanSmart, which converts scanned files into editable formats for a variety of different uses.
