To go along with the solutions Synology, offer their consumers and businesses, they have announced two additions to their enterprise class M.2 NVMe SSD for SSD Caching and a new generation 10/25GbE Network Cards for the market.
Synology SNV M.2 NVMe SSD
There are two new models made available – the SNV3400 M.2 2280 and SNV3500 M.2 221100 NVMe SSD – are made for use cases where a bigger M.2 SSD is required for more data caching, higher and consistent performance improvements over the HDD-based arrays. These drives have the capacity to do 205,000/40,000 4K maximum random read/write IOPS and comes with a 500 TBW endurance rating to deliver lowered latency experience during multimedia post-productions to database applications.
Synology Dual-Port Network Cards
The Dual-port Cards come in two variants – one that does 10Gbps only which is the E10G21-F2 whereas the E25G21-F2 does both 10Gbps and 25Gbps respectively. The whole purpose of these cards is to boost throughput and performance of compatible Synology systems for bandwidth heavy tasks like AI, Big Data applications, remote backup for multiple devices.
Both the Synology SSDs and Network Cards – E10G21-F2, E25G21-F2, SNV3400-800G, and SNV3500-800G – are available in Malaysia through Synology resellers – you can visit here to find out where to buy.
