HUAWEI recently held a grand launch in the APAC region where they launched six new flagship products. Among the products launched includes the HUAWEI nova 8i, HUAWEI MatePad series tablets, HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series smartwatch, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4, and two high-end monitors, the HUAWEI MateView and MateView GT respectively.

The HUAWEI MatePad series tablets and HUAWEI WATCH 3 series smartwatches are the first Huawei smart devices powered by HarmonyOS 2. HUAWEI say that the distributed data management and distributed task scheduling capabilities of HarmonyOS make the two product work more efficiently.

HUAWEI MatePad series tablets

The HUAWEI MatePad series can work with Huawei PCs and HUAWEI MateView for multi-screen collaboration as a tablet powered by HarmonyOS 2. In Mirror mode, the tablet may be used as a drawing sketch pad, and in Extend mode, it can be used as a monitor.

It also supports file dragging and transfer between devices, allowing for a more efficient and collaborative multi-device experience.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6-inch, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 10.8-inch, and HUAWEI MatePad 11-inch are all part of the HUAWEI MatePad line. The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6 and 10.8 feature a stunning bezel-less screen with the world’s highest screen-to-body ratio of 90%.

The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is Huawei’s first tablet to enable a 120Hz screen refresh rate, allowing users a more fluid visual experience when gaming or viewing videos.

The new platinum-coated pen nib on the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) provides a natural pencil-like writing experience.

The new Smart Magnetic Keyboard has a full-size design and 1.3 mm key travel for a pleasant typing experience. Additionally, the magnetic cover, wireless charging, and Bluetooth connectivity are all carried over from the previous model.

Starting from 7 July, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro (Olive Green) will be available at RM4,399, on HUAWEI Store Online and participating HUAWEI Partner Stores such as Lazada HUAWEI Flagship Store, Shopee HUAWEI Official Store and Senheng.

HUAWEI MateView and MateView GT

The HUAWEI MateView is a smart office display that offers professional colour display performance. It’s a professional-grade standalone monitor with a 28.2-inch 3:2 display with a high resolution of 3840 x 2560 pixels.

HUAWEI MateView can also be wirelessly connected to smartphones, computers, and tablets. It also has keyboard and mouse control capabilities. In the reverse direction, the keyboard and mouse can be linked to a monitor to control other devices such as laptops and mobile phones.
